This Privacy Notice ("Notice") has been prepared to inform you, in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), about the personal data processed by KAS Uluslararası Sertifikasyon ("KAS", "the Company", "we") as data controller, through the kascert.com website ("Site") and related contact/membership/order processes.

1. Data Controller

Your personal data is processed by KAS Uluslararası Sertifikasyon, acting as data controller, in accordance with the KVKK.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

Through the forms on the Site (e.g. the "Fast Communication" quick-contact form, the contact form, and membership/order screens) and your use of the Site, the following categories of personal data may be processed:

  • Identity and Contact Data: full name, email address, phone number,

  • Communication Content Data: the content of messages/requests you send us,

  • Membership/Order Data: (if applicable) account details, order/delivery information, order-tracking information,

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser information, and usage data collected via cookies (see our Cookie Policy for details).

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the purposes of responding to your requests/enquiries, providing certification and related services, carrying out membership and order processes, improving the Site and our services, complying with our legal obligations, and, where you have given explicit consent, sending you informational/marketing communications.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK, namely: your explicit consent; processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract; compliance with our legal obligations; processing being necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right; and/or processing being necessary for our legitimate interests.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with our hosting, IT, and site-infrastructure service providers, with service providers involved in payment/order processes, and with authorised public institutions and organisations, only to the extent required for the relevant purpose and in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

6. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through the forms on the Site, through email/phone communication you initiate with us, and automatically (including via cookies) while you use the Site.

7. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to us to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about such processing if it is; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred domestically or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction of your data within the framework set out in the KVKK; request notification of the above operations to the third parties to whom your data has been transferred; object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems; and request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data.
